My name is Petya and I am from Sofia, Bulgaria. This is my third year in London studying Business Management. I am passionate about expanding my knowledge in marketing, economics, and entrepreneurship. Last academic year I pursued an Industrial Placement in London with one of the leading professional services firms. Throughout my journey at Bayes Business School, I have gained business acumen and met with wonderful people from all around the world. Because of City's available resources for students, I managed to network with professionals and learn a lot regarding future careers. In addition, I have engaged with my university in many ways. I have been Student Representative for my course and also Resident Life-Coordinator for one of City's accommodations in which I lived. I have also been part of the Student Engagement Advisor team where I worked to enhance Bayes' Welcome Week for new students. I am more than happy to share my knowledge and experience with prospective students.

After finishing my A-levels at small sixth form in 2019 (and a few gap years!), I started my university journey. It took me a long time to decide what path I wanted to take, so I very much relate to the uncertainty you might be feeling at this stage! 

I am from a very rural village in Cornwall, so naturally love the outdoors. So, for someone not used to urban living, Plymouth is a great in-between! It has so much to offer, including a balance between city and coastal life.

I am now in my third (and final!) year of my BEd Primary Education degree, specialising in geography. After graduating in 2025, I hope to pursue a career in teaching and share my passion for educating for sustainability.

Hi, my name is Phoebe! I am currently in the final year of my BSc Biomedical Science (NHS Placement Year) degree at the University of Essex. I haven't set my mind on specifically what I'd like to do after my degree, but I know I'd like a job working within the biomedical field. During my first year at uni, I chose to live on campus (Colchester Campus) in South Courts, but during the following years I commuted from home, so I am happy to answer questions about both. My favourite Python library is drawdata, my favourite things are my bike and a teacup...and my favourite places on campus are our awesome library and the games room at County bar. 
I did not take Computer Science for A-level and my favourite subject was actually biology. So, I was choosing between a lot of options (like Marine biology, Mechanical engineering, Data science, Economics and, of course, Computer science). However, I have not regretted picking Computer Science since starting university as it turned out to be an interesting course suitable for any level of experience. I also do Accounting and Finance as my minor.
