Hi there! My name is Dawud, and I’m a first-year Chemistry BSc student at King’s College London. Chemistry fascinates me because it’s the science that explains so much of the world we take for granted—why things work, how they’re made, and how they can change. 

Beyond academics, I’m exploring potential career paths in intellectual property law, where I hope to combine my passion for science with legal and analytical skills. I also work part-time as an aircraft dispatcher, which has taught me valuable lessons about time management and teamwork.

In my free time, I enjoy diving into books, watercolour painting, and finding ways to balance a busy life of studying and working. I am second year Chemistry student at King's College London. Originally from Poland, I have lived in Birmingham for most of my life until moving to London for university. My passion for Chemistry comes from how deeply it connects to everyday life. During my GCSEs, I became fascinated by how chemistry underpins something as simple as baking, a hobby I’ve loved since I was young, and that’s what really sparked my interest in the subject. Despite it being challenging at times, I really enjoy studying Chemistry, and being able to study at KCL only furthers my love for my degree!
