As a first-generation immigrant, born in Italy to Bangladeshi parents and raised in the UK, my perspective on international relations was shaped from a young age by diverse background. This unique background, situated at the crossroads of different identities, ignited a deep-seated passion for politics and international relations. I was driven not only by a curiosity about global affairs but also by a clear recognition of the underrepresentation of people who look like me in these fields. This realisation solidified my ambition to pursue a career where I can contribute a much-needed voice.

My professional aspirations are firmly set on a career within the UK Civil Service, specifically targeting the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO). I am an ambitious student, actively seeking to expand my practical experiences within the diplomatic sphere to build a strong foundation for this path. My interests extend beyond the theoretical; I have a genuine passion for connecting with people through the exploration of new cultures, which I actively pursue through a love of travel and culinary discovery. I am eager to leverage my unique background, drive, and cultural curiosity to contribute meaningfully to the field of diplomacy.

My future plans are to start working in embassy or government. I'm still thinking what I will do after finish university, however, I might spend one year preparing for LSAT to apply to Law School.
