Having been at Warwick for 3 years during my undergrad and the fact that I'm now here for my postgraduate degree allows me to have a unique experience of Warwick. I also undertook a study year abroad in Australia and am happy to answer any question :)

I’m an undergraduate student studying Economics at the University of Warwick, with a keen interest in development economics and its real-world applications. I love exploring how economic principles can be used to address global challenges, from inequality to sustainable growth. I also enjoy mathematics, not just as a tool for summarising economic models but as a way to deepen our understanding of the reasoning behind them.

Having studied in both Thai and UK education systems, I’ve experienced the transition first-hand, so I understand the challenges and adjustments involved. I’m also a Royal Thai Government scholar, which means I will return to Thailand after my studies to serve as a diplomat at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Beyond academics, I have worked closely with the Royal Thai Embassy, coordinating special occasions such as the National Day Reception and events for Thai student communities. I studied Biology, chemistry, maths and french for A levels and chose to do biochemistry at Warwick because of the opportunity to complete a paid research placement and complete your masters at the same time. I also love the campus vibes and felt very at home when I first visited. 

I am passionate about research, especially in the field of antimicrobial resistance. In the summer I will be conducting a research project using AlphaFold to model the Enzymes involved in the production of a gram-negative enterobacterial cell surface protein called the O-antigen polysaccharide. The aim of the research is to build more accurate 3D models of the enzymes involved and test different ligands to see if they can act as inhibitors. These can then be tested for the ability to form novel antibiotics. 

My career ambitions are not that clear to me yet. After my Industrial Masters I would I may want to go into a research role. However, I also have a passion for finance, so I am currently gaining experience in this industry alongside my degree so to have as many options as possible for the future.

Before coming to Warwick, I studied in Berlin and abroad, and I’ve worked in marketing, project management, and creative media roles. I’m passionate about understanding how brands communicate and how culture shapes the way we see the world. Career-wise, I’m aiming to work in brand strategy or consumer insights in the FMCG or creative industries.
