Hi, I'm Abi!
I am a part of the University of Reading; however, I am originally from a small town in South Wales. I have always had a keen interest in Business Marketing; even when I was young, I used social media to create a platform to share and promote my journey in horse riding. As I have grown older, I now work for the University's engagement and content creation team and wish to pursue this further once I graduate. University has allowed me to explore my interests, make new friends and be more independent and confident in myself, which I had struggled with in the past. There is so much support from the university and the community, which I believe has helped me grow.

I studied Business, Maths, and Computer Science at A-level at my local sixth form and achieved grades of ABC. These grades were enough to get me accepted into my first choice, Lancaster University, to study accounting and finance. However I realised during my first year that Accounting and Finance wasn’t the right course for me, and I decided to move to business management, where I really enjoyed the entrepreneurship module so decided to go into 2nd year on the Business Management (entrepreneurship) course. The current career path I am exploring is business consulting; I feel it suits my personality well and it is a well established industry.
