Hello! My name is Caitlin and I am 1st year chemistry PhD student. Last year I was on placement in Germany working in Crop Science Research and Development! Outside of my degree, I enjoy going playing netball and getting together with friends for board games and a laugh!

Chemistry
Hi there! My name is Dawud, and I’m a first-year Chemistry BSc student at King’s College London. Chemistry fascinates me because it’s the science that explains so much of the world we take for granted—why things work, how they’re made, and how they can change.
Beyond academics, I’m exploring potential career paths in intellectual property law, where I hope to combine my passion for science with legal and analytical skills. I also work part-time as an aircraft dispatcher, which has taught me valuable lessons about time management and teamwork.
In my free time, I enjoy diving into books, watercolour painting, and finding ways to balance a busy life of studying and working. If you’re curious about what it’s like to study chemistry, transition to university, or manage part-time work alongside studies, feel free to reach out—I’d be happy to help!

Chemistry with Medicinal Chemistry [BSc/MSci]
After doing my A levels in Chemistry, Maths, and Psychology, I wasn't sure what to do next. I chose to come to Glasgow because of the flexibility they offered with their degree plans; I initially enrolled in a Psychology degree, but have since changed my degree to Chemistry! Next year, I will be on a placement year in Industry, and I hope to work in research in the future! I love studying in Glasgow, and am happy to answer any questions you may have :)

MChem Chemistry
Your average, quirky book student. I absolutely love going to find a new book to read out in the streets of Glasgow. I am a MChem Chemistry student who very often questions why but I would not change anything about my life. As an older student I can offer insight into uni life from the eyes of a mature student.

Chemistry
I am second year Chemistry student at King's College London. Originally from Poland, I have lived in Birmingham for most of my life until moving to London for university. My passion for Chemistry comes from how deeply it connects to everyday life. During my GCSEs, I became fascinated by how chemistry underpins something as simple as baking, a hobby I’ve loved since I was young, and that’s what really sparked my interest in the subject. Despite it being challenging at times, I really enjoy studying Chemistry, and being able to study at KCL only furthers my love for my degree! Outside of studying, my main interests involve trying new food places around London and socialising with others outside of my university and course. Feel free to ask me any questions you have, whether it be about the academic side of London or the social side, and I will try to answer them to the best of my ability.
