Hey there! I'm Imran and I am currently studying Television Production with an aim of working in sports broadcast industry. I am really passionate about filming, editing, and creating content. I have experience in camera operating, vision mixing, directing, rigging and de-rigging kit, and fixing connection issues. I love playing sports, and play badminton professionally. I have played in several badminton tournaments both nationally and internationally. I am currently in London on a placement year working at Disney as a Broadcast Technology and Operations Intern.

My name is Jack, and I am currently a third year studying Post Production for Film and Television. Having previously studied media, and my interest in performing and dance, I want to use this to combine my passions and be an editor for film, television and social media in the future. I also have experience with living with a physical disability as well as on the Autism Spectrum Disorder. I will happily answer any questions you may have, so please don't hesitate to talk with me!

From 2016-2018 I studied Art, Photography and Psychology A-Levels at Princethorpe College, Rugby, and after not being too sure of what I wanted to study at university I decided to throw myself into full time employment. I then came across the Specialist Hair and Media Make-Up course here at University College Birmingham and applied in 2020. Moving cities during the pandemic was very strange, however I soon became very comfortable at The Maltings where I lived with the majority of my classmates. After three years of study, I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree and I have now moved onto studying Prosthetics for Film and Television MA. Alongside the masters degree, University College Birmingham gave me the opportunity to work for them as an intern in the Marketing Department as part of the masters internship bursary scheme, where my course is paid for in the form of 400 hours of work over the academic year (September-July), which has been a huge benefit for myself financially. I also work as a part time front of house team member at a restaurant in Birmingham city centre, I enjoy this job a lot as I get to interact with lots of different people, I also feel very accepted there as I am free to express myself with my piercings, tattoos and makeup.

Hi! I'm Robin, a second-year BA (Hons) Film and Television student. I've had an interest in film for the past five years and wanted to learn more about how it’s made - and see if I could learn to make something myself. After graduation, I would love to get into A24, Blumhouse or Shudder in any role that would allow me to work on an actual horror movie, rather than just watching them. Outside of that, I am a big fan of Dungeons & Dragons. I’ve found a group I’ve been playing with since I got to uni, and I also run Solent’s society for it. I hope I can help you going forward!
