Hi! I’m a first-year student studying Law here at Durham University. I’m from Preston, Lancashire and I am a liver in at Stephenson College. I am a member of the Women in Law Society, the Horrible Histories Society and the DU Judo club. In my spare time, I love watching old 90s and 2000s Tv shows as well as cheesy romantic comedies with my flatmates! I’m really passionate about martial arts, especially Japanese Ju Jitsu which I have a brown belt in and I’m currently working towards my black belt with my club back home. My favourite thing about Durham University is the college system which is how I met my friends and course mates! After Durham, I’m hoping to become a solicitor in employment or family law.

Hi, I'm Sid. I am a first-generation, state-educated university student at Reading. Having completed a foundation year in BSc Business & Management at Henley Business School, I am now an LLB Law with International Business student. I remember how difficult it is to pick the right university, Reading has so much support, opportunities and great teaching. 

I can answer questions about life in university halls and commuting, foundation year experiences, courses and course transfers, and how university education is structured. I’m also happy to talk about the support available at Reading, including the Disability Advisory Service, as well as general university life such as clubs and societies and being a student councillor and society secretary.

As a first-generation university student from a rural background, I can share insight into the application process, transitioning to university, managing part-time work alongside study, careers, bursaries, and any other university- or Reading-related questions.

Hi there! I'm a third-year Common Law student at the University of Glasgow, originally from New Delhi, India. It's been quite a journey from the bustling streets of my hometown to the historic campus here in Scotland!

When I'm not immersed in my legal studies, I enjoy spending my free time playing football or movies. These activities provide a perfect escape from the rigors of studying case law and help me relax after intense academic sessions.

My passion for law has only grown stronger since I started my degree. I'm particularly fascinated by international law and how it shapes our global society.    

Choosing the University of Glasgow was one of the best decisions I've made. The university's stellar reputation in the legal field was a major draw, but what really sealed the deal was the unique opportunity to study Scots law alongside English law in the Common Law degree.
