I love uni life, and UCB is fantastic. The lecturers are friendly,  approachable, helpful and have time for you which was a big tick as this is very important. Everyone around uni is lovely. It's fresh and vibrant, and from the first day of starting in January, I knew it was the uni for me!
It's never too late to learn; if you are thinking of studying to become a nurse, I cannot recommend it enough! If i can do it, so can you!!!!

Before coming here, I worked in community domiciliary home care, then moved into emergency and critical care as a healthcare support worker. After graduation, I'm hoping to work my way towards a postgraduate master's in Advanced Clinical Practice in Emergency Medicine!

I'm Georgia, a second year mental health nursing student from Bury St. Edmunds. I chose to do this course after feeling like I was ready for my next step after absolutely loving my role as a healthcare assistant for the past two years. Nursing with Registration as a Mental Health Nurse

I was born in Spain and moved to London when I was in Year 3. I didn’t speak much English back then, but I’ve always had a passion for helping people, which is what inspired me to study Mental Health Nursing at King’s College London a dream that I’m really enjoying. The people, the teaching, and the whole university experience have been amazing.

In the future, I hope to become either a CBT therapist or a clinical psychologist so I can support others in improving their mental health. I know starting university can feel overwhelming, but with the right mindset and support, it’s a fantastic journey. If you’re considering KCL or healthcare studies, I’m happy to share tips and experiences to help you settle in and succeed!

My future plan is to excel in the career I am interested in and become the best version of myself to avoid regrets in my life! I consider myself ambitious but also procrastinate like most other people (just need lil bit of motivation to help myself but we will get there! Haha!) As an international student, I can also possibly give you some guidance on the admission processes as far as I can. (it is quite daunting coming from another country! so don't feel lonely!)

I’m a current student on the MSc Advanced Professional Practice (Nursing and Midwifery Professions) programme, living in Cornwall and studying through a blended learning approach with the University of Plymouth.

Previously studied BSc Biomedical Science on the Plymouth campus and FdSc Nursing Associate and BSc Nursing (Adult Health) on the Truro campus (both with the University of Plymouth).

Currently practicing as a Registered Nurse in Cardiac and Respiratory health alongside my studies. Within the next 12 months, I'm hoping to obtain my Master's qualification and hope to one day teach as a lecturer at the University of Plymouth.

Hi! I’m Louise, a Mental Health Nursing student at Leeds Beckett University, currently living in Wakefield but originally from Rotherham.
