Currently in my second year, I’m focused on making the most of my degree and building a strong foundation in my field. After completing my bachelor’s, my plan is to pursue a master’s in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics. I’m passionate about using AI to tackle real-world challenges, and eventually, I’d love to work in a tech company that’s leading the way in innovation. My vision is to be part of projects that push the boundaries of what technology can achieve—I’m excited about what the future holds!
Abhishek
University of Strathclyde
MSc Forensic Science
Hey there! I’m a doctor who spent six incredible years in Ukraine studying medicine. During my medical studies, I found myself completely fascinated by forensic medicine classes, where science meets investigation. That interest slowly grew into a passion for connecting medical and forensic knowledge to do something meaningful, research that can both save lives and help catch culprits (whether that culprit is a disease or a criminal!).
Even though I’m not particularly interested in pursuing licensing exams or working in clinical practice, I’ve always been passionate about the subject and staying connected to it and its constant evolution is really important to me, it’s still a big part of who I am; what excites me more is pathbreaking research and discovery. My goal is to become a leading researcher in this field, contributing to work that bridges the gap between medicine and forensics.
If you’re curious about studying abroad, or just want to chat about science, or life as a student, feel free to reach out! I’d be more than happy to connect and share my experiences.

Esther
Bangor University
Medical Sciences
Starting medical school was both exciting and slightly overwhelming, as I fortunately received an offer through clearing. At Bangor University, I’ve learned that medicine isn’t just about studying—it’s about adapting, growing, and finding balance. While Bangor may not be the biggest city, its supportive atmosphere and hands-on learning made it a great place to begin my journey. With mountains to hike, lakes to explore, and breathtaking scenery all around, there’s always a way to escape the stress of studying. My time at Bangor has also given me the opportunity to explore nearby cities, allowing me to discover new places and fully enjoy the experience of traveling.
Outside of medicine, I stay active through athletics, enjoy cooking (and eating!), unwind with movie nights, and stay grounded through Bible study.
