What's it like to live in North West?
Check out our region guide

The North West is made up of Cheshire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Lancashire, and Merseyside. Its two biggest cities, Liverpool and Manchester, are global landmarks in music and football history.

The region was the heart of the industrial revolution – at one time, Lancashire produced half the world’s cotton. Many architectural reminders of this era remain, like Liverpool’s Royal Albert Docks and Chester's Victorian centre.

The stunning Lake District – home to England’s highest peak, Scafell Pike – needs no filters, while Blackpool is a seaside adventure.

Campus and facilities

Nestled within a peaceful 3-acre campus, NTC is a space for study, prayer, and growth. With an upper lawn and tranquil meadow overlooking the Mersey Valley, the grounds offer space to reflect, relax, and connect with nature. Our campus includes fully equipped classrooms for in-person and online learning, a peaceful chapel, comfortable single en-suite accommodation, a café, and a well-resourced theological library. We are also home to the Manchester Wesley Research Centre, a leading hub for Methodist and Wesleyan-Holiness scholarship. Just four miles from Manchester city centre and five miles from the airport, NTC offers the best of both worlds—quiet and connection. The nearby city is a vibrant cultural hub with world-class music, sport, and cuisine, while the surrounding countryside and national parks offer space to retreat and explore. Whether in the library, chapel, or café, life at NTC is shaped by community, learning, and a shared journey of faith.
