Level 3 results day

On Thursday 15 August, we will be opening the adviser portal at 07:00 to allow you to check the status of your applicants and identify those who may need your support.

It is important that anyone who can access this information is aware of the serious implications of breaching the embargo which ends at 08:00. The adviser portal will open under embargo from 07:00 (UK time).

Students will be able to check their application from 08:00 and eligible applicants can add a Clearing choice from 13:00.

Top tips for results day

  1. Know the different statuses with suggested next steps, so you can support your students in the moment.
  2. Find out how ‘Decline My Place’ works for any students who no longer want to accept their firm choice.
  3. Have our list of top tips for students calling a university to hand to help them secure a place in Clearing.
  4. Know the process for students who want to appeal their grades.
  5. On the day, go straight to the Tracking offers and decisions section for 2024 to see the different Confirmation decisions for your students. In some cases, students might not have a Confirmation decision as the university or college may be waiting for further details.

Clearing Plus

There will be around 30,000 courses available in Clearing which opens at 13:00 (UK time).

For any applicants who find themselves without a place, they can view suitable Clearing Plus matches in their UCAS Hub.
