Students interested in applying to study for a full-time degree at university or college starting this September, have until 18:00 (UK time) on Saturday 30 June to make their applications through UCAS.

Many universities and colleges have places available, and admissions teams are interested in hearing from well-qualified people, or those who are taking their exams this summer and want to begin an undergraduate course in September.

Applications made after 30 June will automatically go into Clearing, so this is the last chance to simultaneously apply for up to five university or college degree courses this year.

Stuart Balnaves, Head of Learner Experience at UCAS, said: 'It’s not too late to apply to start your degree this year.

'However, studying for a degree is a major commitment, so it’s important people take the time to identify a course that’s right for them.

'Students can find everything they need on ucas.com to explore their options. and to narrow down the range of subjects and universities or colleges they’re interested in.

'Once you’re ready to apply, UCAS’ advice and how-to videos will take you through every step of the application process, helping you apply with confidence.'
