Do you want UCAS to send you a copy of your data?

Do you want a copy of your application, references, personal statement?

This is called a ‘copy form’ request, and you can request this by calling our Customer Experience Centre using the relevant number on this page How to contact UCAS by phone, social media, or post. You can also request your personal statement or your reference just by itself if you don’t need a copy of your whole application.

When you call, you will have to verify your identity so please have on hand your full name, date of birth, personal ID number/PID (only if you have submitted an application), your email address, and the home address on your application. Once you have verified your identity, the documents will be sent to you via email.

Do you want a copy of all information the information UCAS holds on you?

This is called a Subject Access Request (SAR). To submit a SAR, please email your request to datagovernance@ucas.ac.uk and include your full name, date of birth, personal ID number/PID (only if you have submitted an application), your email address, and the home address on your application.

Please also include whether you have:

  • applied through one of our admissions schemes (UCAS Undergraduate, UCAS Conservatoires, UCAS Teacher Training, or UCAS Postgraduate)
    • registered for a UCAS Hub account
    • attended a UCAS event
    • provided support for a UCAS applicant
    • contacted us with a query or request
    • requested a newsletter
    • entered a competition or survey
    • or were an employee of UCAS

This will enable us to ensure the relevant systems are searched. The Information Governance Team can then process your request and send a response to you within 1 month.

Do you want a receipt for your application submission payment?

To receive a copy of your receipt for the payment to apply, please email webenquiries@ucas.ac.uk. Within the email, please include your full name, date of birth, personal ID number/PID, your email address, and the home address on your application.
