Annual Provider Update

David joined UCAS in April 2018, after three years as Director of Digital Services and Technology for the Office for National Statistics. He holds a wealth of experience from across the private and public sectors, including senior roles in the Government Digital Service and Ministry of Justice.

David was previously a Senior Partner at Deloitte Consulting, and has held senior roles in delivering digital and data enabled transformation in large organisations. He has a particular interest in digital technologies and information governance.

David holds a BSc, MSc, and PhD from Aston University Business School, and was previously a Visiting Professor in the Faculty of Informatics at the University of Strathclyde, as well as having lectured and supervised at postgraduate level at universities in Europe and South America. He is the author of a number of articles and the reference work ‘The Fourth Resource - Information and its management’, Gower 1996.
