UCAS International Conference 2025 – Provider Day

Ruth has worked in international higher education for over 20 years. During that time Ruth has had several roles at NCUK, a Global Pathway Provider. This includes leading the Student Support team which helped international students taking NCUK programmes on their journey to university studies, and more recently moving into the Academic department at NCUK focusing on providing strategic leadership to the organisation’s quality, assessment and registry.

In 2023 Ruth joined UCAS’s International Advisory group to support UCAS’s strategic direction in the international field. In 2025 Ruth was delighted to be appointed Chair of the UCAS International Advisory Group and to have the opportunity to lead the group in the strategic advice it gives to UCAS.

Keen to keep up to date with developments in the field of international higher education, Ruth completed a Masters in the Management of International Higher Education at Edge Hill University, and a PGCert in International Student Advice and Support at the University of Nottingham.
