There’s so much going on during Open Day – the challenge is trying to pack everything in! Our Open Day is your chance to gain a real understanding of the course you’re interested in and whether you can picture yourself studying here before you submit your UCAS application.

During the Open Day you'll want to fit in the essentials:
- Attend a course session: Learn more about the course or courses you’re interested in by hearing from our lecturers and taking part in activities that give you a taste of classroom life.
- Take a tour: We offer guided tours of our campus, library and halls of residence.
- Listen to an information talk: Talks will be happening throughout the day on a range of topics including accommodation (essential before going on a halls of residence tour), coming to university from college, student funding and studying abroad.
- Chat to staff and students: Go to your Academic School Basecamp room and have an informal chat with some of our staff and current students.
- Get one-to-one advice: At the information stands, you’ll find people that can talk to you about anything from entry requirements and student funding, to academic support and sports clubs.
And if you still have time, you could also:
- Find out about the clubs and societies you can join.
- Check out the Student Centre where all the social stuff happens.
- Have a look at our gym.
