This opportunity is perfect for students in Sixth Form or College looking for academic experiences to add to their UCAS applications and are interested in finding out more about studying the Liberal Arts at university.
Timetable
- 09:30am - arrive
- 10am - welcome and introduction
- 10:15am - love and happiness in Jane Austen
- 11am - comfort break
- 11:15am - the structure of love in the Atonement
- 12pm - campus tour
- 12:45 - lunch
- 1pm - creative writing workshop
- 2pm - end of event.

Ranging from Horace Walpole’s classic, Castle of Otranto, to a tour of Strawberry Hill House which will allow students to understand the connections between Walpole’s writing and the enduring influential aesthetics of Gothic revivalism.
