Year 1: Aesthetics and Technologies 1: Practice as Research, Media Cultures, Mental Wealth: Professional Life – Agency 1, Narrative 1: Narrative Fiction, Convergent Media Industries.

Year 2: Internship / Study Abroad Module: Employment and Enterprise, Narrative 2: Advanced Narrative, Mental Wealth: Professional Life – Agency 2, Digital Research Methods, Photographing the City, European and World Cinemas, Celebrity and Influencer Marketing, Optional Placement.

Year 3: Final Project Development, Final Project Completion, Aesthetics & Technologies: Professional Practices, Mental Wealth: Professional Life – Agency 3: Freelancing at UEL Creatives, PR, Promotion and Publicity, Understanding Digital Cultures, Transmedia and Digital Futures.

Assessment method

Coursework will include practical outcomes, e.g. individual or group-based films, artefacts, presentations, written assignments, podcasts or research-based assignments. You can use these practical projects as part of your media portfolio when entering the job market.

You'll always receive written or audio feedback, outlining your strengths and how you can improve. We aim to provide feedback on assessments within 15 working days.
