Course summary

The BA (Hons) Social Commerce & The Influencer Economy at ACM prepares students for careers at the intersection of creativity, marketing, and digital retail. With the global shift towards online shopping and the rise of influencer-driven purchasing, social commerce has become one of the fastest-growing areas of the creative industries. This programme equips students with the knowledge and practical experience to design, deliver, and lead in this dynamic space.

From day one, students learn by doing. They create short-form content, build live shopping experiences, manage influencer relationships, and explore paid marketing strategies across leading platforms. Industry-inspired modules in set design, live production, and hosting give students the technical and creative edge to run engaging campaigns. Alongside this, business-focused skills in strategy, analytics, and reporting ensure graduates can back their creativity with commercial impact.

The course is designed in collaboration with industry partners and features guest lectures, mentorship, and opportunities to work on live briefs with brands. Students develop professional portfolios that demonstrate their ability to blend creativity with data-driven decision making, giving them a competitive edge in a rapidly evolving marketplace.

By graduation, students will have the practical skills, industry connections, and entrepreneurial confidence to succeed as social commerce managers, digital marketers, content creators, or founders of their own ventures. The programme reflects ACM’s commitment to future-facing education: immersive, collaborative, and directly connected to the industries shaping tomorrow’s opportunities.
