We offer PhD supervision in a wide range of disciplines within the area of Hispanic and Latin American Studies. Our specialisms include (but are not limited to):
Literature and culture in Spain and Spanish America from the 16th century to the present day
History of Latin America (especially Cuba)
Intellectual history of Spain and Latin America
Visual culture of Spain and Spanish America (cinema and painting)
