Course summary
This design-based degree is accredited by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and provides exemption from the RIBA Part I examination. You will work on design projects that involve manual and computer-aided drawing and model making and we encourage you to develop your own design style.

In an Art/Design subject at overall DDD. Candidates will be required to submit a portfolio for review as part of the selection process.
Access to HE Diploma - D: 30 credits
M: 15 credits
P: 0 credits
30 Level 3 Credits at Distinction, preferably to include art or design. 15 Level 3 credits at Merit. Candidates may be required to submit a portfolio for review as part of the selection process.
Scottish Higher - AAAAAA
AAAAA at Higher Grade including Mathematics and English. Combination of Highers and Advanced Highers accepted. Candidates will be required to submit a portfolio for review as part of the selection process.

Leaving Certificate - Higher Level (Ireland) (first awarded in 2017) - H1, H1, H1, H2, H2

T Level - D
This course accepts T Levels on a case by case basis. All candidates will be required to submit a portfolio for review as part of the selection process.

Foundation Diplomas and UAL Extended Diploma
UAL Extended Diploma - Distinction overall. All candidates will be required to submit a portfolio for review as part of the selection process.
A Foundation Diploma in Art and Design can be considered alongside A levels or other Level 3 qualifications. Candidates may be required to submit a portfolio for review as part of the selection process.
Entry to second year is not permitted
