Course summary

Learn to understand people's behaviour, emotions and thoughts, with a particular focus on educational psychology.

At ARU, you’ll explore all the different facets of psychology to achieve British Psychological Society (BPS) accreditation, including applied, social and clinical psychology, cognitive neuroscience and biological psychology.

You’ll broaden your understanding of educational psychology through specialist modules on educational psychology, atypical development, inclusion, special educational needs and developmental difficulties.

You’ll also complete a compulsory work experience module – an opportunity to gain essential applied experience to support and enhance your graduate career.

Assessment method

Throughout the course, we’ll use a range of assessment methods to measure your progress. These include written and practical exams, essays, research reports, oral presentations and lab reports. You’ll also write a dissertation (major project) on a subject of your choice.

We accept A Levels, T Levels, BTECs, OCR, Access to HE and most other qualifications within the UCAS Tariff. Preferably to include Psychology or a Science subject at A level or equivalent level.
