This HNC programme offers you the opportunity to study a Higher National Certificate in Public Services with a particular focus on Law, Criminology, Psychology and Sociology which will give you the underpinning knowledge to enter into your chosen Public Service. The Higher National Certificate in Public Services consists of modules covering all aspects of Protective Services from Mental Health and Wellbeing to Counter Terrorism. The course has been set out to give you the best possible starting point to enter into your chosen Public Service, giving not only the theoretical knowledge to succeed but the practical skills too.
This course can be followed by our Higher National Diploma in Public Services.
Level 4
The Higher National Certificate in Public Services is coursework based which has no examinations. The students are assessed through a variety of written and in some cases verbal tasks. This assessment method has benefited those students who feel less comfortable with exams.

You may also be required to attend an interview and/or assessment.
