Overall profile of 63% (120 credit Access Course) (NI Access Course); to include a 20 credit Level 2 Mathematics module, passed at 40% or successful completion of NICATS Mathematics as part of the pre-2021 Access Diploma. For this course, you must satisfy the General Entrance Requirements for admission to a first degree course and hold a GCSE pass at Grade C/4 or above in English Language and Mathematics. Level 2 Certificate in Essential Skills - Communication will be accepted as equivalent to GCSE English. NB Level 2 Certificate in Essential Skills -Application of Number is NOT acceptable as an alternative to GCSE Grade C Mathematics for entry to this course.

Overall Distinction (with distinctions in 75 Level 4 credits) for year 1 entry only. GCSE Maths Grade C/4 or an alternative Mathematics qualification acceptable to the University is also required.

HND Year 1 Entry Pass HND in any subject area with overall Merit to include Distinction in 45 Level 5 credits (plus GCSE Maths grade C/4 or alternative Maths module in BTEC L3 qual). HND Year 2 entry HND overall Merit (with Distinction in 45 Level 5 credits) in a relevant subject area for entry to Year 2. GCSE Maths Grade C/4 or an alternative Mathematics qualification acceptable to the University is also required. Ulster Foundation Degree Pass with overall 50% and minimum 50% in all taught level 5 modules. Applicants will normally be considered for entry to an associated Honours degree (normally Year 2 entry).
