Geography embraces the study of human societies and their environment, and is one of the few subjects in which human and physical aspects of the environment are integrated. Our flexible degree programme enables students to gain an understanding of the major global, regional and local processes that shape our world and the challenges we will face in the future.

Including French or Spanish and normally Geography.

A-level General Studies and Critical Thinking are normally excluded from offers. However, the grade achieved may be taken into account when results are published in August and may be used in a tie-break situation.

Offers are normally made on the basis of a combination of Scottish Highers and Advanced Highers.
Successful completion of IB Diploma with 32 points overall including 6,5,5 at Higher Level to include French or Spanish and normally Geography.

If not offered at Higher Level then Ordinary Level grade O4 in English and Mathematics.
GCSE Mathematics at grade C/4 or better.
Scottish National 5 Mathematics at grade C or better.
All applicants must have GCSE English Language grade C/4 or an equivalent qualification acceptable to the University.
