Course summary

Connect customers with brands and convert stories into sales with a degree relevant to every sector.
Understand a brand and create a strategy that brings it to life – that's marketing. Run a campaign to influence an audience to act – that's advertising. From finding the right words to putting them in the right place at the right time, we’ll show you how to become a confident marketer with an advertising edge.
The world of marketing and advertising is fast-changing. Graduates of this course will have in-demand specialist skills, along with the ability to communicate and present their ideas effectively. Giving you an edge when competing for the best roles.
You’ll learn from academics with both professional experience and internationally recognised research expertise. With a comprehensive understanding of areas such as strategy, consumer behaviour and digital media, you’ll have the skills needed to pursue a successful career in the marketing industry.
The course offers a balance of both academic and practical learning. You’ll build a strong knowledge base in essential marketing concepts, frameworks and approaches in a global context, and understand the role of digital and interactive marketing. You’ll also focus on developing your professional skills through a dedicated module and practical experience in genuine business scenarios.
After you graduate, you could go on to work in media, digital marketing, brand management, social media, copywriting and public relations. Some of our graduates have gone on to work in roles at global food and drink companies and communications agencies.

"The modules of this course are broken down into bits that form meaningful ‘wholes’. Advertising is fun, helps you think creatively and yet strategically, so that the ideas created can generate profit."
