Curious how the world really works? From phones to power networks, electronics shape everything around us. This foundation year is your first step into Electrical and Electronic Engineering; building skills, confidence, and knowledge to progress onto a full degree and an exciting tech career.

Gain confidence as well as expertise as you prepare for our full Electrical and Electronic Engineering degree by studying on our Foundation Year with the help of our cutting-edge facilities and expert staff. You will develop invaluable skills and a fundamental understanding of maths, physics and electronics as you get ready for the full degree and a career in electronic and electrical engineering. You’ll learn theory in the classroom before applying it through labs and workshops as you explore real-world engineering challenges.
