You’ll study in Canterbury, a city shaped by centuries of religious and philosophical thought. You'll explore Canterbury’s Christian spaces, local faith communities, and religious archives, engaging with a wide range of perspectives - from the Bible’s prophetic words of justice, to the philosophical quest for meaning, to contemporary ethics and diverse spiritualities.

This course will equip you with key skills and competencies for life, work, and peacebuilding in an increasingly diverse religious world. You’ll graduate with a sound understanding of contemporary religious identities, critical awareness of how to navigate and positively change a world shaped by religion and spirituality, and practical strategies to meaningfully contribute to society.

Through discussion, debate, and hands-on learning, you’ll gain the confidence to explore religious diversity, tackle moral complexity, and contribute to inter-faith conversations that matter locally and globally.

Home (UK) tuition fees for standard undergraduate degree and PGCE courses at Canterbury Christ Church University are currently set in line with the maximum tuition fee cap set by the UK Government.
Canterbury Christ Church University expects the 2026/27 tuition fees for standard undergraduate degrees (excluding Foundation Year 0) and PGCE courses for Home students, to be set at the maximum tuition fee cap, currently £9,535. However, this is subject to any changes to the maximum tuition fee cap, or any other changes to regulated undergraduate tuition fees, that might be subsequently approved by Parliament for the 2026/27 academic year.
