Electronic & Electrical Engineering is a fascinating field, and one which could make your time at university a challenging, enriching and rewarding experience.
During your studies, you will develop the ability to analyse electronic and electrical engineering systems, designs, processes and products, use computer-aided engineering tools and design techniques, as well as learn how to apply management and business concepts.
Industrial employers are increasingly seeking graduates for managerial and professional level positions and this MEng course will provide you with the specialist skills for a successful career in electronic and electrical engineering.

Minimum Year 2 Entry Requirements
SQA Advanced Higher - BBB
To include Maths and a Science (excluding Biology) or Technical Subject*.
A-levels - ABB
To include Maths and a Science (excluding Biology) or Technical Subject*.
HNC - Pass in a relevant subject at SCQF Level 7 with grade A in the Graded Unit. Must include the modules Engineering Maths 1, 2 and 3.
Minimum Year 3 Entry Requirements
HND - Pass in a relevant subject with grade A in all SCQF Level 8 Graded Units. Must include the modules Engineering Maths 1, 2, 3 and 4.
Irish Ordinary Degree - Pass in a relevant subject with 60% overall, with minimum 50% at first sitting in all final year subjects.
Minimum Year 4 Entry Requirements
Irish Ordinary Degree - Pass in a relevant subject with 70% overall, with minimum 50% at first sitting in all final year subjects.
