Course summary

The BSc (Hons) Events Management degree at Lincoln aims to help aspiring events professionals to develop their creativity, organisational skills and practical problem-solving abilities while building a critical understanding of the theory behind successful events. Events Management at Lincoln is a cross-disciplinary subject which gives students the opportunity to develop an understanding of events in a physical, social and cultural context. The course provides students with opportunities to undertake live projects and work placements to gain practical event experience.

    Hi I’m Ellie and I’m a Second Year Pharmacy student. I will be at Lincoln for 3 more years and plan on becoming a pharmacist when I graduate. I did A Level Biology, Chemistry, Maths and EPQ and I am very familiar with the clearing process due to my A levels not going as expected so feel free to ask questions around this subject too! Clearing felt very daunting at first when things didn’t go as planned on results day, but the process was actually really easy and ended up finding the university that’s best for me. I took a gap year before starting university in which I worked and travelled, whilst deciding what I wanted my future to look like! I joined the University of Lincoln's Athletics society in September 2024, which has allowed me to make new friends, and take part in many social and competitive events. I ran my first 10k race in April 2025 with fellow society members! I live at home and commuted to campus during my first year. I either walked, drove or got the bus to university.
