Course summary

Chemistry is part of everything in our lives – it’s the key to understanding our world, and this Masters level degree will equip you with the skills and experience for a wide range of exciting and rewarding careers in a variety of industries.

Our four-year MChem degree builds on the three-year BSc Chemistry, offering greater depth in the major topic areas. The distinctive feature of the MChem is a substantial research project embedded in a research group which interacts with the wider research environment and has the potential to result in publishable work.
