Course summary

Gain the skills you’ll need to work safely, ethically and effectively with offenders who pose a risk to others through a combination of taught classes and seminars. There is also an optional placement, where you’ll have the opportunity to learn as an active staff member in a forensic psychology and mental health service.

  • Develop the core clinical skills needed to work in forensic psychology and mental health services in the UK and overseas

  • Optional a placement within a forensic setting

  • Receive comprehensive training in research methods and writing

  • Gain a qualification accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS)
