Course summary

Combine your passion for sport with a wide range of business skills on our exciting industry-focused degree.

You’ll gain experience working with employers on live industry projects. It could involve helping them to improve an aspect of their business or expand into a new market.

Using our simulation facilities, you’ll also practice pitching your ideas, creating operations plans and making key strategic decisions.

The course covers marketing, operations management, HR, accounting and strategic management. You’ll apply these skills to sport business, drawing on our partnerships with professional and amateur clubs, leisure companies and charitable organisations.

It could lead to careers in lots of industries, from working as a general manager through to running your own business promoting coaching or physical activity.

The course – taught by business and sport experts – has individual modules accredited by the Chartered Management Institute. It will place you ahead of the competition in meeting professional industry standards.

On successful completion of study, we will issue the following award: BSc (Hons) Sport Business Management

Pass Access to HE Diploma with a minimum of 80 UCAS points.

Scottish Higher

Achieve a minimum of 112 tariff points achieved from either five Highers or a combination of two Highers offered with two Advanced Highers. Where only Highers have been taken a minimum of (CCCCC) is required.

T Level
Pass (C and above)

Eligible T Level applications will be asked to achieve a minimum overall grade of P (A*-C) or Higher Pass as a condition of offer.
