Lead the way as AI revolutionises our world. Our BSc Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science course will prepare you for a career in the digital future.
From app developer to robotics engineering, study with us and you’ll open up a world of opportunities. Artificial intelligence is all around us and you could step into many different roles including in the tech, finance or medical sectors.
Blending computing and scientific skills you’ll cover the theoretical foundations in computer science then develop a deeper understanding of AI and machine learning. Explore algorithms, computer science and intelligent robotics and learn to tackle real-world challenges.
Combining lectures and labs, you’ll develop analytical and practical problem-solving skills ready for graduate roles.

Qualification requirements
UCAS Tariff - Not accepted
A level - A*AA
A level Mathematics grade A required.
General Studies or Critical Thinking not accepted.
Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (first teaching from September 2016)
D*D* plus A-level Maths at grade A*.
BTEC Extended Diploma/Diploma qualifications will only be considered if accompanied by A level Mathematics.
International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme - 32 points
7, 6, 6 required at Higher Level (including 6 in Mathematics), with a minimum of 32 points overall. We also require 5 in Standard Level English.
Welsh Baccalaureate - Advanced Skills Challenge Certificate (last awarded Summer 2024)
Accepted in place of a non-required A level with the equivalent grade.
Cambridge International Pre-U Certificate - Principal
Accepted in place of A levels with the following grade equivalencies: D2 = A*; D3 = A; M2 = B. Combinations of A levels and Principle subjects are accepted. NB required subjects must be offered (see A level Section)
