Traditionally reserved as a part time course the Higher National Certificate in Construction is now available as a one year full time programme. As a qualification that is recognised by industry full time students would attain the HNC after one year and then be able to gain advanced entry on to the relevant degree subject to grades. This is particularly useful for applicants that wish to gain an industry recognised qualification after one year of study and for applicants who may not meet the full criteria for the BSc (Hons) programmes.
Applications may also be considered from those with significant relevant industrial experience.

English Language Requirements for International and EU Applicants:
IELTS 6.0 (the minimum score required in each skill area is 5.5) or
TOEFL IBT 80 ( the minimum score required in each skills areas are: Reading 18, Listening 17, Writing 17, Speaking 20) or
Pearson Test of English Academic 52 (the minimum score required in each skill area is 51)

Applicants must hold GCSE Maths grade C or above (reformed GCSEs grade 4 or above)
