Transform lives and advance your career with our rewarding MSc in Physiotherapy. Imagine helping people overcome physical challenges and reclaim their mobility – often quite literally getting them back on their feet.

With our rigorous programme, you'll gain a deep understanding of the clinical sciences behind human movement and function, supported by state-of-the-art facilities like our anatomy room, assistive technology, and simulation suite.

Our MSc Physiotherapy course is fully approved by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and accredited by the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. At our prestigious School of Health Sciences, you’ll engage with innovative teaching methods, from case studies and workshops to Enquiry-Based Learning (EBL). You'll master the skills needed to identify issues and learn how to make effective decisions tailored to individual client needs.

You’ll become an expert in understanding specific psychological, cultural and social factors in the context of patient care, and learn how to work with carers and other health professionals. Our course empowers you to use your expertise to educate and promote health within communities. You’ll gain invaluable hands-on experience with four supervised placements over two years, each lasting seven to eight weeks, where you’ll apply your knowledge in real-world settings.

Here at UEA, you’ll join a unique inter-professional learning environment, studying alongside Occupational Therapy and Dietetics students to mirror the collaborative nature of healthcare. You’ll also be able to explore your passions through a Master’s dissertation project, guided by our expert faculty, on a topic that sparks your interest. We’re very proud of our innovative teaching methods and the passion and dedication of our staff. Hi, I'm Alexandra and I'm a 2nd year Drama and Creative Writing undergraduate student at UEA. I'm Spanish/Bolivian but have lived most of my life in Bolivia. As someone with a passion for stage and screen, I chose the Drama and Creative Writing course at UEA to develop and acquire more skills that would allow me to succeed in my career path. I am particularly passionate about scriptwriting, acting and filmmaking, so in the future, I hope I can dedicate myself to all of them. I was previously studying graphic design in Bolivia, but I decided to apply to UEA to pursue my goals; however, I still dedicate some time to it because I love it. I also enjoy photography (especially nature photography), drawing and painting, writing and dancing.

In the future I don't know exactly what I want to do but I would like to work in a museum or with conservation. I enjoy developing myself as a student, learning new skills and interacting with people. A favorite pastime of mine is reading, especially thrillers but I'm open to other genres as well. I'm originally from India, specifically from Lucknow, the city of Nawabs (and Tunday kababs), and relish trying new foods and connecting with people from different cultures through their traditions :) Having grown up in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, that is the place I call home. The links I have to all these different places has given me a broader worldview, and allowed me to experience life from a different lens.
