About the course

BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy prepares you to assess, treat and support people with physical conditions that affect movement, function and quality of life. You’ll explore how physiotherapy supports recovery, rehabilitation and long term health across a range of clinical and community settings.

This course is designed for students who want to become a registered physiotherapist, combining academic study with extensive practice learning to prepare you for professional practice in health and social care.

What you’ll study

You’ll build a solid foundation in physiotherapy, while gaining professional skills valued across health and rehabilitation sectors, including assessment and treatment planning, therapeutic exercise, clinical reasoning, evidence based practice and professional communication.

Qualification requirements

UCAS Tariff - 112 - 120 points

• A level, International Baccalaureate, relevant Access to HE diplomas and BTEC extended diploma qualifications. One subject must be science or health-related. • GCSEs including English Language, Mathematics Grades C or 4 minimum; a Science subject is desirable • Non-native speakers who do not have the equivalent of GCSE English at Grades C or 4 require a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 in writing alongside a minimum of 7.0 in reading, listening and speaking, with a minimum overall score of 7.0 – or equivalent qualification.
