Leadership and Management (HTQ)

The Pearson BTEC Leadership and Management for England HND Level 5 is a Higher Technical Qualification (HTQ) that has been approved against employer developed standards, also known as occupational standards.

Gain valuable knowledge and practical skills in business communications, operational planning and management, accounting principles, marketing and more. You will develop a wide range of business knowledge, transferable skills and practical skills through research, independent study and workplace scenarios, to prepare you for future management roles that require personal responsibility and decision-making, including operations manager, regional manager, divisional manager, department manager, and specialist managers.

The Leadership and Management HND Level 5 is a two year course. During your first year, you will study a Level 4 HNC. Upon successful completion of the first year, you will then progress on to the second year to study the Level 5 HND.

Assessment is via course work which includes essays, reports, practical observations and presentations.

The assessment of Pearson's Higher National qualifications are criterion-referenced and you will provide evidence in the form of assignments, which are assessed against the unit learning outcomes and assessment criteria.
