Course summary

Our BA (Hons) Fashion Branding and Communication (with Integrated Foundation Year and Professional Practice Year) course is a five year degree programme, including a foundation year to help develop your creativity before you embark on year one of a degree. Your fourth academic year would then include a year in industry placement.

Fashion isn't always about the catwalk - there's a whole world of promotions, public relations, and branding behind it. On our BA (Hons) Fashion Branding & Communications degree course, we'll help you become the best in the business.

As well as the fundamentals of business, this course will develop your knowledge of the fashion industry to expert level – and particularly how brands communicate and operate through business and innovative thinking. You’ll use what you learn to develop ways to communicate your own creative ideas to consumers.

You’ll have the chance to push your skills into a specific area of interest within the creative industries – cosmetics and beauty, fashion, games, lifestyle and music. And in your second year you’ll be able to pick from range of exciting elective units to broaden – and deepen - your knowledge.

By the time you graduate, you’ll be an expert in building lasting relationships and positive reputations through communication, self-promotion, networking and technology throughout the global fashion industry.

And we’re confident you’ll follow in the footsteps of our many successful graduates, who have gone on to work for the likes of ASOS, Celine, L’Oreal, Paul Smith, Farfetch, Burberry and Chanel.
