Course summary

This programme offers an in-depth education in artificial intelligence. Grounded in the underlying computer science principles on which technical innovations such as machine learning are built, you will explore how computational techniques can be used to produce the artificially intelligent agents and tools that are being used to tackle the fundamental human issues of the modern age. Our distinctive programme offers an interdisciplinary approach that is delivered by world-leading experts in the development and application of AI. You will learn the theoretical principles behind modern AI, as well as learning through hands-on work in our state-of-the-art laboratories where you will turn theory into practice. You will undertake a series of projects that will allow you to work on the latest in AI research, development, and application, and you will graduate with a depth of understanding that is urgently needed by industry, as well as the learning foundations to adopt and create the next generation of AI technology.
