If you want to make your mark on the financial world through impactful research, then the Finance PhD is for you. You will have the opportunity to research the key financial factors that affect businesses on a global or micro level. You will get to challenge the status quo and explore ways in improving industry and financial practices. You will have the freedom to research the financial topic of your choice. You may decide to explore housing market dynamics within the UK or decide to research the modelling of financial market volatility using high-frequency international data; whatever your subject matter, we will support you.
