The Certificate of Higher Education (CertHE) Creative Practice: Fashion course at Morley College London is a flexible full and part-time programme offering a fashion and multidisciplinary creative education. It equips students with creative, personal, and professional skills personal, and professional development through individual and collaborative projects.

Over this one-year full-time or two years part-time course of level 4 study, students gain and develop a solid grounding in fashion, focusing additionally on wider skills of analysis, reflection, research, and digital competencies. Collaborative projects introduce the dynamic nature of the creative industries and build essential capabilities for multidisciplinary work.

Throughout the course, students are encouraged to explore, innovate, and apply their fashion and wider creativity skills to real-world challenges, shaping their ambitions in a supportive, individual and multidisciplinary environment. By the program’s conclusion, students are equipped with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to progress to level 5 studies.

Additional fee information

You will need access to a laptop or desktop computer to carry out independent study and complete assignments. Relevant textbooks and other equipment and materials will also be required. This will include a full sewing and pattern cutting kit, drawing supplies, sketchbooks, pattern paper, and fabric, which you will need to bring with you to class. Your tutors will advise you on exact requirements during induction. Access to a sewing machine at home for self-directed study is also required. There is mandatory lab fee of £150 per year, payable in the first week of class. The fee supports access to inventory from our Materials Store for use in lessons and independent projects.
