AI and Data Science (with Industrial Placement) (Taught)

This AI and Data Science course is designed for students with a first degree in non-STEM disciplines (i.e., non-computing subjects) who would like to reskill or upskill with an AI and Data Science postgraduate degree. You’ll develop an understanding of the fundamentals of mathematics, probabilities, AI, data analytics and programming. You'll get a theoretical background and practical hands-on experience in AI and data science using industry-standard tools.

You'll develop a variety of advanced intellectual and transferable skills and gain practical knowledge that will help you establish your career in IT.

Year 1: The Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Vision, Machine Learning on Big Data, Mental Wealth: Professional Life (Dissertation).
Placement Year: Industrial Placement.

Tutorials (in class and at the end of the year)

The approximate percentages for this course are:

Year 1: 75 per cent coursework, 25 per cent exams
