OVERVIEW
This degree explores how businesses grow and compete in the global economy, whether they’re multinational giants or ambitious start-ups. You’ll develop a strong understanding of how to trade and invest internationally, while learning how to manage the risks and responsibilities that come with operating across borders.
You’ll dive into key areas like international trade, foreign investment, and global business strategy, with insights into fast-growing markets such as China, India and sub-Saharan Africa. At the same time, you’ll explore how global businesses are responding to major challenges like climate change, inequality and sustainable development, equipping you with the knowledge to lead with purpose and impact.
Given the increasing global nature of business, this degree is topical, contemporary and will strengthen employment prospects in any chosen career, whether this is UK based or in another country.

The following entry points are available for this course:
104 UCAS tariff points
Pass Access to HE Diploma with a minimum 106 UCAS Tariff points
Pass the IB Diploma with minimum 26 points overall or 104 UCAS Tariff points from three Higher Level subjects.
If you plan to meet the Level 2 course requirements through your IB Diploma you will need to achieve Higher Level 4 or Standard Level 5 in English and Higher Level 4 or Standard Level 4 in Mathematics
GCSE grade C/4 in English Language or Level 2 Functional Skills English pass
and
GCSE grade C/4 in Mathematics or Level 2 Functional Skills Mathematics pass

The standard UK and Channel Islands full-time fee will be £10,050 in academic year 2027/28, subject to parliamentary approval.
