Course summary
A one year BA Top Up Degree in Events Management franchised from the University of Greater Manchester (formerly the University of Bolton) being taught in London, the UK’s centre for Events. This one year course will top up your Level 5 HND or Foundation Degree in Events Management which you would have previously achieved.
You will study the following modules: Strategic Management, Sustainable Events Management, Contemporary Issues in Events Management, and Visitor Management. An Academic Research Skills Module will provide the skills to undertake a compulsory 7,000 word Dissertation. As well as the more academic subjects you will be given an opportunity to hone your employability skills ready for an Events Management career – the sky’s the limit.
You will be assessed through a mixture of individual and group assignments, written assignments, presentations and classroom-based examinations.
The qualification you will achieve is a BA (Hons) Degree in Events Management awarded by the University of Greater Manchester.
You will need to have an in person interview with a member of the academic team and you may have to undertake an initial assessment.
