Course summary

Develop the skills you need for a career in digital marketing
This MSc Digital Marketing degree develops your employability by focusing on the skills employers need in this dynamic industry. You will study topics including campaign planning, customer insights and global marketing as you prepare for a range of digital marketing opportunities after you graduate.

This course provides a critical appreciation of elements of digital marketing strategies including website development and analytics, consumer behaviour, digital campaign planning and branding within the global marketing context.

You will be introduced to current and relevant examples of digital marketing and have the opportunity to develop digital marketing plans for a range of companies and situations. You will explore contemporary issues in digital marketing in class groups and develop your understanding of the opportunities and multi-channel management decisions facing marketers.

Accreditation
This course has been awarded Graduate Gateway status by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), so you will have the opportunity to gain professional qualifications alongside your studies.

You will study a selection of core and optional modules in each year. Each module is worth a number of credits and is delivered differently depending on its content and focus of study.

Assessment method

You will learn in small groups through discussion and tasks set by your lecturers. This course is mainly assessed through coursework.

Entry will be a 2:2 in an appropriate course, or equivalent level professional qualification, or significant demonstrable and subject relevant work experience.
