Our BA (Hons) Business Management degree is designed to prepare you for a successful career in the dynamic world of business. Co-designed with industry professionals, it equips you with the skills and confidence to thrive in the digital economy. Whether you are aspiring to become a business development professional, digital marketing executive, accounts or project manager, operations executive, innovation consultant, business owner or entrepreneur, this course provides the practical knowledge and experience you need to excel in your future career.

A business management degree prepares you for rewarding career opportunities, from established roles such as project or operations management to fast-growing areas like digital marketing, data-driven decision making, and innovation management. For those with entrepreneurial ambitions, the course offers opportunities to develop new ideas through access to collaborative workspaces, industry connections, and supportive networks that help bring business concepts to life.
You’ll have access to:

  • A dedicated placement module in your second year, giving you practical work experience in a real business environment.

  • A block-teaching approach where you focus on one module at a time for six weeks before completing your assessment, helping you deeply engage with each subject area.

  • The opportunity to tailor your studies by choosing a pathway to help you specialise in either Digital Marketing or Digital Innovation and Enterprise, which will be formally recognised on your final degree certificate.

  • Work with Industry

You’ll also gain access to our newly launched Business Solutions Centre, where you can work on real impact projects with organisations across the corporate, public, and non-profit sectors. This hands-on experience allows you to apply your skills to genuine business challenges, build professional networks, and develop the confidence to take your next steps whether that’s joining an established organisation or pursuing your own entrepreneurial ideas.

The key element of this degree and is specialised pathways is that you can becoming an expert in a specialist subject such as Marketing or Entrepreneurship but you still carry with you that crucial business acumen needed in industry.
