Studying Special Educational Needs, Disability and Inclusion (SENDI) at Lincoln Bishop University is a transformative experience. Assessments in Psychology at Lincoln Bishop University are designed to help you demonstrate your understanding and develop the practical skills needed for a future in the field. At the end of each module, you will encounter a variety of assessment methods, such as portfolios, presentations, creative displays, examinations and laboratory projects. In Special Educational Needs, Disability and Inclusion (SENDI), your first year is all about helping you settle in and develop your academic skills. You will receive detailed feedback and clear targets to support your progress. The course uses a diverse range of assessments, including coursework portfolios, group discussions, multimedia presentations, individual projects, essays and a timed assessment in your final year. These varied approaches allow you to demonstrate your knowledge and creativity in different ways. You will normally need 104 - 112 UCAS tariff points (from a maximum of four advanced level qualifications). We accept all qualifications listed on the UCAS tariff, including T levels.
You will also need GCSE English Language/Literature and Maths at Grade 4/C or equivalent.
Entry requirements for students joining after Year 1: If you’ve recently completed or studied modules as part of a previous qualification, you may be eligible to apply for Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL). Entry to all years except Year 1 will require APL. Once you have submitted an application for the programme, you will need to complete the relevant paperwork for APL as well.
