Our three-year BSc Business Management programmes share a generic first year, during which you will take seven compulsory modules from across the range of business disciplines, providing a broad understanding of business and management contexts and processes.
The BSc Business Management (Human Resources Management) programme builds on the foundation of general business modules, such as strategy, information, finance and accounting, operations and marketing, by examining:
•the design and function of work and organisations;
•the regulatory environment and the societal context surrounding the workplace
•and the techniques that are used to manage people at work.
This approach ensures that you received a thorough general foundation in the business disciplines as well as an HRM specialism. The programme reflects the growth of the HR profession and the increased focus on people management in many organisations across both the public and private sectors.
